Huawei Hangzhou R&D Center is located in High-tech Development Zone of Binjiang district and invested by Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd, which is a bigger industrial production building with the concept of energy efficiency and environmental protection, as well as a high-tech production plant combining meeting and research together. An artificial lake has been established in the center, with an area of 7,000 sq.m, the office building of research fellows is also situated.
The project covers an area of 230,000 sq.m, with total investment of 1.457 billion Yuan. It’s estimated that the output value will attain 10 billion Yuan after five years. On the essential theme of the poetic beauty in Art City Hangzhou, the project integrates organically with other independent buildings.Moreover; there are 6 labs and offices set on two sides of the axis of the inner building.
Huawei Hangzhou R&D Center is designed by HENN ARCHITEKTEN, while the ceiling system is designed and produced with massive non-standard large punched-plates by ZHIGAO which takes thorough consideration of the installation of lamps and air outlet, and solves the roughness problem of large plates. On account of reasonable division and outstanding quality, ZHIGAO has been consistently approved by owners and supervisor sides.
As the nominated ceiling supplier of HUAWEI,ZHIGAO has successively accomplished the missions of Huawei Manufacturing Bases in Shanghai,Shenzhen，etc..At present, Huawei Hangzhou R&D Center keeps the pace with the project plan and is nearing completion.
